What is AWANA
AWANA is a worldwide, Bible-based discipleship ministry for children and youth. As the global leader in child and youth discipleship, AWANA helps kids know, love, and serve Jesus—no matter their background.
At Crossroads Foursquare Church, AWANA gives children a fun, structured way to learn God’s Word, grow in faith, and build lasting friendships. Each week includes Scripture memorization, engaging Bible lessons, games, and group time designed for their specific age level.

What do kids learn
Each AWANA club level is designed for its specific age group—from preschool through high school. Every child learns how to apply God’s truth to real-life situations, like- how to be a good friend, how to trust God when life gets hard and how to grow a lifelong faith in Jesus. The heart of AWANA is teaching kids that the truth can always be found in God’s Word. Weekly lessons and activities help ignite a passion for Jesus that extends beyond Tuesday nights—into homes, schools, and our community.

Why AWANA matters
AWANA is more than just a program—it’s a place where children build a foundation of faith that lasts a lifetime. Kids learn that God’s Word has the answers to their questions, and they discover what it means to follow Jesus with all their heart. Through AWANA, we’re raising up the next generation of disciples who are equipped to shine God’s light in their homes, schools, and communities.
AWANA Clubs at Crossroads

Cubbies
(Preschool, ages 4–5)
Cubbies introduces young children to God’s love and truth in a safe, engaging environment. Weekly activities include Bible stories, memory verses, and energetic game time that build a strong spiritual foundation.

Sparks
(Kindergarten–2nd Grade)
Sparks helps early elementary kids learn key truths about God, the Bible, and Jesus Christ. Through interactive lessons and verse memorization, children grow in their understanding of faith.

Truth & Training (T&T)
(3rd–6th Grade)
T&T equips students to know and apply God’s Word in their daily lives. Kids engage in Scripture study, group discussions, and exciting game time that strengthen both their faith and friendships.

Trek & Journey
Middle & High School
Trek challenges middle school students to think critically and live biblically. Each study encourages personal application of God’s Word to the real issues students face every day. Journey guides high school students toward spiritual maturity and leadership. Teens grow through in-depth Bible study, mentorship, and opportunities to serve within the church and community.
